The officials - Head Constable Naresh Kumar and constables Kuldeep and Bhup Singh, were caught by a special surveillance team of Delhi Police's Vigilance department in two separate operations, said a senior police official.
In the first operation, conducted on December 7, the surveillance team found out that Naresh Kumar and Kuldeep allegedly used to confiscate papers of commercial vehicles at an intersection on Minto Road.
The duo used to ask the drivers to come back after dropping off their passengers and get their documents freed for a certain fee, the official said.
"Departmental enquiries have been initiated against the three officials, who have been sent to district lines," the official added.
