Three-year old girl raped by neighbour boy

In yet another incident of sexual offence against a minor, a three-year old girl has allegedly been raped by a teenaged boy in Thalaghattapura locality in Bangalore Rural district.
The incident happened on July 18 with the 16-year old accused being her neighbour, Ramanagara District Superintendent of Police Anup Agarwal said today.
"The incident has happened when no one was at home, and the boy who is known to her is said to have lured the girl with getting her some eatables before committing the crime," he said.
Stating that a case had been registered, the official said the girl was undergoing treatment. The boy is absconding.

The incident comes even as protests are on against the alleged rape of a six-year old girl at a public school in Bangalore recently.
