Body of the boy, identified as Jatin, was discovered lying face-down between a drum and a trunk at a corner in the innermost room of a shanty, where he lived with his family.
Jatin's body was covered with clothes, which were apparently stacked above the trunk, said a police official.
After preliminary investigation, no visible wounds were found on Jatin's body. Though it is suspected to be a case of accident, the police haven't yet ruled out the possibility of the boy being murdered, said the official.
Jatin's family had claimed that they looked out for the boy everywhere around and also pasted posters in and around the locality reporting that the boy was missing. But they might not have searched well inside the house, said the official.
