The maximum temperature shot to 35.0 degrees Celsius at Una which was hottest in the State while Sundernagar and Nahan recorded a high of 30.7 degrees C, six degrees above normal, followed by Kangra 30.0 degree C, Bhuntar 28.0 degree C, Solan 27.5 degrees C, Shimla 22.5 degrees C and Kalpa 16.0 degrees C, the MeT office said.
The minimum temperatures rose by three to five degrees in lower hills and Palampur recorded a low of 18.4 degrees C, five degrees above normal, while Nahan was warmer at 15.4 degrees C, followed by Dharamsala 11.8 degrees C, Shimla 11.2 degrees C, Solan 9.7 degrees C, Sundernagar 9.0 degrees C and Bhuntar 7.0 degrees C.
