Thymol edges higher on industrial demand
Press Trust of India New Delhi In restricted activity, thymol prices edged higher by Rs 5 per kg at the local chemical market today on increased industrial demand against tight supplies from producing areas.
However, other chemicals, after trading in a tight range on scattered enquiries, settled at previous levels.
Traders said increased industrial demand amid restricted arrivals from producing areas led to the rise in thymol prices.
In the national capital, thymol moved up by Rs 5 to 905 per kg.
