The Tibetan Mountaineering Assembly will organise the event from September 26 to October 7 this year.
They can choose to climb Mount Qizi, Mount Qizi II or just experience mountain hiking, said Nyima Tsering, deputy director of Tibet's Sports Bureau and chief of the assembly.
Renowned mountaineers including those who have conquered world's all 14 mountains higher than 8,000 meters will be invited to communicate with the climbers, state-run Xinhua quoted him saying.
Mount Qizi, 6,206 meters high, and Mount Qizi II, 5,900 meters high, are located about 90 kilometres away from Lhasa, capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region.

Both mountains are ideal for mountaineering beginners as climbing risks are relatively low.
The Tibet Mountaineering Assembly started in 2001 and is popular among amateurs mountaineers.
This year's Mountaineering Assembly is also a commemoration of the 60th anniversary of first ascent of Mount Qomolangma (Mt Everest) by humans.
