Vonn announced the split in a statement on her Facebook page yesterday, saying the couple had parted due to incompatible schedules.
"After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship," Vonn said.
"Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart.
"I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart."
Woods issued a similar statement on his website.

Woods, 39, and Vonn, 30, had emerged as the golden couple of American sport since news of their relationship three years ago.
Fallen idol Woods had regained his world number one status before a catastrophic 2014 blighted by injury and poor form.
The winner of 14 major titles has seen his ranking plunge outside the top 100 this season, and he has only played three events.
