Tight movements in gur prices in thin trading

Gur prices ruled steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today following sporadic buying support amid restricted supplies.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend at close on small buying support.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against scanty demand, especially held prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,800-2,900, dhayya Rs 3,000-3,100 and shakkar Rs 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,600, chakku Rs 2,350-2,500, khurpa Rs NT. And Ladoo Rs NT.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,500-2,550 and dhayya Rs N.T.
