Tight security measures have been put in place for BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally tomorrow at Hiranagar town of Kathua district, barely few kilometres from Indo-Pak border.
Modi is addressing a mega rally in Hiranagar tomorrow morning after paying obeisance at Mata Vaishnodevi cave shrine amid heavy security cover, BJP spokesman Balbir said tonight.
The J&K Police has put in place heavy security setup in and around Hockey Stadium, the venue of the rally.
"We will take all necessary precautions... All security arrangements are being put it place," Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu, Rajesh Kumar told reporters here.
"Nothing would be left to chance. The security measures have been planned as per threat perception and requirement of the area. Everything is being done," Kumar added.
Hiranagar had been hit by terror attack on September 26 last year in which a top army officer was among 11 army personnel, cops and civilans killed besides three militants.
