Traders said besides tight supplies from producing regions, pick up in demand from flour mills mainly led to the rise in wheat prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) rose by Rs 20 to Rs 1,535-1,540 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 1,550-1,555 per 90 kg.
