At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in October was up Rs 28.20, or 3.57 per cent, to Rs 818 per kg, with a business turnover of 8 lots.
The delivery in November also rose by Rs 4.40, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 830 per kg, with a trading volume of 150 lots.
Market analysts said the rise in cardamom prices at futures trade was mostly attributed to tight supplies from producing belts against rising spot as well as export demand.
