"We have taken serious note of the video and are ensuring strict action against the two jail staffers, head warder Anil Upreti and warder Digambar over their drunken brawl.
"Such an act is unbecoming of government servants and the process is underway to suspend them," said Mukesh Prasad, Additional IG (Prisons) and spokesperson for the Tihar prison complex.
Upreti is posted in the CCTV room and Digambar at Jail No.7 of the prison. They were captured in a video thrashing each other inside a car.
Drawn by the commotion, people gathered around the vehicle and somebody in the crowd also captured a video clip of the incident on a mobile phone.

Police have registered a case on a complaint from Tihar authorities under IPC sections 186 (obstructing government servant from duty), 353 (assault to deter public servant from duty), 355 (assault) and under section 3 of Prevention to Damage of Public Property Act, said Vijay Kumar, DCP (West).
