In a jibe at BJP's 'Chai par charcha' campaign, Prasada, while talking to the reporters in Haridaspur village, said, "Time has come now to hold Daal Par Charcha."
He was visiting the village to offer his condolences to the family of slain Sub Inspector Manoj Mishra who was shot dead by alleged cattle smugglers last month.
Prasada sharply attacked the Central government over the soaring prices of pulses and the rising inflation.
Scorning Centre's agro policy, he said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his electoral campaign had said I will not eat nor I would allow others to eat. I feel now that this might have been expressed in reference of Arhar pulse.
