Tin, copper recover on renewed industrial demand

Tin and copper prices recovered modestly at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amid mild offtake from industrial users.
While, brass, zinc and lead eased on reduced demand from consumer industries.
Globally, the industrial metal copper ruled steady amid concerns over Chinese demand, with the world's top metals user is set to release first-quarter growth data shortly.
Tin rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,280 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,275.
Copper cable scrap, copper armiture and copper wire bar all inched up by Re per kg each to Rs 442, Rs 428 and Rs 462 respectively.
However, lead edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 132 from Rs 134, while brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting, and zinc also softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 314, Rs 321 and 179.
