Tin declines on lower demand

Tin prices declined at the non-ferrous metals market here today on stockists selling amid lower demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, lead and zinc also slipped following poor offtake from alloy industries.
While, copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and brass sheet cuttings recovered on fresh demand from industrial users.
Tin prices fell by Rs 30 per kg to Rs 1,490 from Monday's close at Rs 1,520.
Zinc edged down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 229 as against Rs 232 previously and lead softened by a Re per kg to Rs 155.
However, copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and brass sheet cuttings inched up to Rs 401 per kg, Rs 429 per kg and Rs 321 per kg, respectively.
