Tin and nickel prices eased at the non-ferrous metal market today due to stockists' selling amid lower demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, copper and brass also slipped owing to sluggish demand from industrial users.
Tin and nickel prices declined by Rs 15 per kg each to Rs 1,450 and Rs 1,065 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,465 and Rs 1,080, respectively.
Copper sheet cuttings slid by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 465 as against Rs 471 yesterday.
Copper scrap heavy and copper armature went down by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 477 and Rs 469 as compared to Rs 482 and Rs 474, respectively.
Copper cable scrap, copper utensils and copper billets moved down by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 483, Rs 444 and Rs 511 from Rs 486, Rs 447 and Rs 514, respectively.
Brass sheet cuttings edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 362 as against Rs 364 and brass utensils scrap softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 344.
