Tin, Nickel firm on sustained demand

Nickel, tin and brass utensils scrap firm up further at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amid firm demand from alloy industries.
While, copper and zinc prices slipped due to subdued offtake from industrials users.
Nickel rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 815 from Monday's closing level of Rs 810.
Tin climbed by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 1,380 from Rs 1,376.
Brass utensils scrap inched up by a rupee per kg to Rs 275.
However, Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar copper and zinc edged-up by a Re per kg each to Rs 366, Rs 360, Rs 351, Rs 330, Rs 394 and Rs 192, respectively.
