Tin, Nickel harden on persistent demand

Tin and Nickel prices hardened at the non-ferrous metal market here today on steady stockists buying amid persistent demand from alloy industries.
While, brass utensils scrap edged down following mild offtake from consumers industries.
Tin prices surged by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,410 from Wednesday's close Rs 1,400 and nickel rose by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 820 as against Rs 818 yesterday.
Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper sheet cuttings inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 361, Rs 351 and Rs 345 respectively.
However, brass utensils scrap softened by a Re per kg to Rs 273.
