Tin, nickel rebound on renewed industrial demand

Tin and nickel rebounded smartly at the non-ferrous metal market here today on renewed industrial demand.
While, copper weakened and brass prices slipped due to poor offtake from consumer industries.
On the global front, The Industrial metal copper were little changed near four-week lows in early trade following persistently weak consumer demand from china offset concerns over lower-than-expected mine supply.
Nickel spurted by Rs 30 per kg to Rs 1235 from tuesday's closing level of Rs 1205 and nickel gained by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 970 from overnight closing level of Rs 960.
However, copper utensils scrap edged down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 400 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 405 and brass utensils scrap moved down to Rs 3 per kg to Rs 315 from Rs 318.
Copper cable scrap, Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar all eased by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 441, Rs 435, Rs 426 and Rs 461 respectively.
