The industrial metals was trading almost steady at the LME, after fitful global factory growth and fears China will clamp down on credit tarnished the outlook for metals demand.
Tin climbed by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,585 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,580.
However, copper cables scrap, copper wire bar and Nickel declined by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 500, Rs 528 and Rs 1,010 from Rs 505, Rs 533 and Rs 1,015.
Copper sheet cutting and brass utensils scrap fell by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 472 and Rs 342 from Rs 475 and Rs 345.
Copper armature, copper utensils scrap, and brass sheet cutting moved down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 480, Rs 454 and Rs 353 from Rs 482, Rs 456 and Rs 355 respectively.
