In the industrial metal edged higher at the LME buoyed by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's support for the euro zone, which helped boost investor confidence in the global economy and demand for metals.
Tin dropped by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 1,260 from overnight closing level of Rs 1,280 and Brass sheet cutting moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 326 from Rs 328.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper wire bar, copper sheet cutting and brass utensils scrap all softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 482, Rs 474, Rs 510, Rs 461 and Rs 316, respectively.
