Tin weakens on lower demand

Tin and copper sheet cuttings weakened at the non-ferrous metal market here today following lower demand from stockists and alloy industries.
Tin prices slipped Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,265 from yesterday's closing of Rs 1,270 and copper sheet cuttings softened by a Re per kg to Rs 368.
However, brass utensils scrap edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 289 as compared to Rs 287 yesterday.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper wire bar and brass sheet cuttings inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 383, Rs 377, Rs 411 and Rs 292 respectively.
