The recently revealed look of the Dibakar Banerjee-produced movie shows the characters sporting a grim look, with two men (newcomer Shashank Arora and Amit Sial) carrying a gun each, anther guy (Ranvir Shorey) holding a hammer.
Also shown in the poster are two other characters, played by another newcomer Shivani Raghuvanshi and Lalit Behl.
The films tagline says, "har Family, Family nahi hoti".
The director said 'Titli' explores the idea of five people of a dysfunctional family staying under a roof behaving with specific power equations with each other.

"Clad in thick checked shirt, Bawla (Sial) holding a katta gives a glance of his complex nature. Neelu, who is holding her bag depicts her eagerness to run away at any moment. Daddy (Lalit Behl) holding his medicines seems to be powerless yet is manipulative of everyone around. 'Titli', stuck between all of them, has a reluctant participant's look and his own slackly pointing katta," said Behl in a statement.
Banerjee added the makers wanted to evoke interest and imagination from the audience through the poster.
"Film's core being the unlikely family that one has only heard of in the news, we decided that we'll give the audience a straight on portrait of the family with their pet things. And let the audience think up the story and imagine the dynamics," he said.
