The Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) would contest at least four seats in the coming Lok Sabha elections and support the Congress in the other constituencies, party president M Kodandaram said Wednesday.
"...Definitely, we should contest at least four places and announce support to Congress party from outside where we are not in contest. This is the view that has come," he told reporters here.
The constituencies where the TJS would be in the fray include Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Malkajgiri.
The party has not held talks on alliances for the parliamentary elections, he said.
TJS had contested the assembly elections in December last as part of the "grand alliance" that comprised Congress, TDP, CPI and TJS.
However, the TJS drew a blank.
