The fabrication and galvanising firm will invest a total of about Rs 17 crore...Rs 5 crore in the first year and the rest next year for introducing their products, TJSV Managing Director J K Menon told reporters here.
The company, which was supplying these products to others by sub-contracting, has decided to supply items like girders, roofing sheets and other fabrication items directly to the Railways, he said.
Similarly, considering huge potential for road guards, particularly on highways, the company would enter the sector, he said.
TJSV, located at Gudimangalam near Udumalpet in Tirupur district, is also looking to tap solar energy and is in search of land in Tamil Nadu to set up the plant, he said.
About finances, he said it would be accrued on equity basis, since the company has 540 investors, majority of them being NRIs, he said, adding, the company would double its turnover to Rs 100 crore next year.
