A state-level convention of the party would be held here on February 22 to draft strategy for the Lok Sabha elections, Trinamool's Rajasthan state unit president Vijay Sarswat said at a press conference today.
The state unit would try to field candidates in maximum number of seats but not less than five, Sarswat said.
A number of Trinamool leaders, including former Union minister Sultan Ahmed and MP K D Singh, would address the convention, he said.
The Trinamool Congress would emerge as the second largest party after the next Lok Sabha polls with at least 32 MPs as against its present strength of 19, he said.
Commenting on the BJP government in the state, he alleged that Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's 60-day work plan had proved to be a flopped show, and no new thing had happened so far.
