TN beat Andaman and Nicobar in Santosh Trophy

Hosts Tamil Nad thrashed a hapless Andaman and Nicobar 10-1 in a south zone quaifying round match of the National Santosh Trophy Football Championship, here today.
While Tamil Nadu overwhelmed Andaman 10-1 after leading 3-1 at half time, Andhra Pradesh lost 2-5 to Karnataka in another match.
In the Karnataka-Andhra match, the later went in to the lead in the 16th minute following a spot kick by Mohd Moaazam and then Anto Xavier found the equaliser also from a penalty kick.
Don Bosco put Karnataka in the lead in 29th minute and Anto Xavier netted the third goal for Karnataka.

Xavier Vijayakumar and Vignesh scored for Karnataka to a position of strength (5-1) but Andhra's Syed Khaleel reduced the margin.
