TN Governor, CM, political leaders extend new year greetings

Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah and leaders of various political parties today extended their new year greetings.
In a Raj Bhavan statement, Rosaiah conveyed his heartiest greetings and best wishes.
"May the dawn of New Year usher in progress and prosperity, revitalize our energy and promote oneness and national spirit in our commitment towards attaining excellence in all spheres," he said.
Chief Minister J Jayalalalithaa wished that all sections of the society availed of her government's various welfare schemes and made the state strong and prosperous.
"I wish that this new year brings in new hope, resurgence and development," she said.
DMK president M Karunanidhi and DMDK founder and Opposition Leader in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, Vijayakant, also extended their new year greetings to the people of the state.
