All the vehicles were being screened and passengers' identities checked thoroughly for the second day today in all five checkposts in Krishnagiri district, police said.
"We have put up digital banners near all five checkposts in the district with Jaishankar's picture from different angles and we have given police contact for those with any inputs," Hosur DSP G Gopi told PTI.
Posters in addition to digital banners were also being put up in bus stands, railway stations and public places, where the footfalls are high, he said, adding that manpower has been increased at all the checkposts.
The incident came to light only on Sunday, when fellow inmates and prison authorities found Jaishankar missing.
