TN rally to beat Delhi 2-1 in Jr Hockey Nationals

Tamil Nadu struck two late goals to snatch a 2-1 victory over Delhi on the opening day of the 4th Hockey India Junior Men's National Championship (Division A) here today.
The match started with Delhi taking the lead in the very first minute when Sonu Kumar scored through a field goal.
Just four minutes left in the match, Tamil Nadu restored parity with Judson D (66th minute) scoring a field goal.
Tamil Nadu got the momentum and scored the winning goal in the 69th minute.
In the second match of the day, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana played out a 3-3 draw with both the teams showcasing entertaining hockey.
Uttar Pradesh scored through Arjun Yadav (25th minute), Manish Rajllbhar (26th), AP Singh (35th) while Nikhil Saroha (32nd), Kambir (34th) and Manpreet (55th) scored for Haryana.
In the last match of the day, Jharkhand held Madhya Pradesh to a 2-2 draw.
