TN, UP, Namdhari XI & Railways score big wins

Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy pulled off a dominating 5-1 win over Chhattisgarh in their Pool B league match of the 3rd Hockey India Senior Men National Championship here today.
This is second consecutive win for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy. Arman Quershi struck twice while Raju Singh (1), Sarfraj Khan (1) and Vikas Choudhary (1) scored a goal each. Prince Yadav (1) scored for Chhattisgarh at Major Dhyan Chand Polygrass Hockey Stadium, Prmpri in Pune.
In the other match of Pool B, Puducherry defeated Tripura 7-5. Puducherry for whom Tamilarasan A (3), Manthena Pradyumnavarma (2), Rajesh K (1) and Kamala Kanan N (1) scored, posted their first win while Tripura's reply came from Rehan Khan (2), Khursheed Ahmad (2) and Zafar Iqbal (1).
In Pool F, Namdhari XI trounced Jammu & Kashmir 10-1 in their first league match played at Shiv Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex.
For Namdhari XI, Gurpreet Singh topped the scorers list with three goals, followed by Gurvinder Singh (2), Karamjit Singh (1), Harpreet Singh (1), Didar Singh (1), Gurpreet Singh (1) and Sher Singh (1) while Rajinder Singh scored the only goal for Jammu & Kashmir who lost their second match in a row.
