TNAU research scholar gets ISTE award

A research scholar in Department of Bio-energy, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) here, has received a National Award from India Society for Technical Eduction (ISTE) for best M Tech Thesis in the field of Agriculture Engineering.
The award, given to R Shalini, carried Rs.10,000 in cash, a medal and a citation, a TNAU release said today.
The thesis titled Characteristic Evaluation of Biochar production through slow pyrolysis for carbon sequestration, was awarded durng the 43rd ISTE National Annual Convention recently held at Kolhapur, Maharashtra, it said.
