TNG award for palliative care physician Dr M R Rajagopal

: Noted palliative care physician and Pallium Indian Chairman Dr M R Rajagopal has been selected for the first 'TNG award' in recognition of his valuable contribution in the field of medical care.
The award, instituted by Asianet News Network in memonry of veteran journalist late T N Gopakumar, carries a cash prize of Rs two lakh and a citation.
The award would be presented by former vice chairman of Press Council of India Markandey Katju at a function here on January 30, a release said here today.
Pallium India is a palliative care Kerala based Non-Governmental Organisation.
