Toll in fireworks unit blast rises to 5

: The toll in the blast at a fireworks manufacturing unit at nearby Taramangalam village has risen to six with a woman succumbing to her injuries in a hospital here today, police said.
The woman was among the two injured women admitted to the government hospital. The other injured died yesterday.
The blast at the unit on May 4 night had killed four persons, including a 18-year-old boy and a woman and left two seriously injured.
The workers had been making crackers when the explosion occurred, triggering a fire in the unit.
