"The government is offering Rs 12,000 per household to encourage people for constructing toilets. But at some places, especially in hilly areas, where constructing toilets is difficult the government assistance will not suffice," the Union Rural Development Minister said.
"In case government fund falls short, the corporates can contribute Rs 5,000 for each household," he said at an event here.
Tomar also urged the corporates to help propagate the government's campaign for spreading education.
