In a bid to strengthen the party's organisation in West Bengal, BJP will send some of its senior leaders to camp in various parts of the state and tell people about the Modi government's achievements.
BJP sources said 13 senior BJP leaders and ministers, including Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Radha Mohan Singh and ministers of state M J Akbar and Jayant Sinha will visit various Lok Sabha constituencies of Bengal from April 7 to April 14.
This would be part of a national campaign by the party in which over 120 Lok Sabha constituencies where BJP had lost in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls but sees as winnable in the next, will be at the centre of its eight-day drive, they said.
"After our victory in Uttar Pradesh, our next target is Odisha and West Bengal. In West Bengal people are fed up with the corruption, misrule and appeasement politics of TMC. The people of the state are looking up to BJP as the next alternative.
"The campaign by our national leaders indeed will help us to strengthen our organisation in days to come," BJP national secretary Rahul Sinha said.
