Top BSF officials brief J-K Guv about security situation

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra was today briefed about security situation in the state by top BSF officials.
BSF Additional Director General (Western Frontier) Arun Kumar called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan here and briefed him about "the existing and emerging security scenario", an official spokesman said.
The ADG BSF also briefed Vohra about issues relating to the functioning of the force in the state.
Kumar was accompanied by BSF Inspector General Vikash Chandra.
The Governor's Secretariat, which was closed in Jammu on April 29, re-opened at the Raj Bhavan this morning as part of the bi-annual Darbar move.
Vohra went around the various wings of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat and the office of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board and met the officers and staff of the Governor's Secretariat and the Shrine Board, the spokesman said.
The Governor advised all the functionaries to ensure proper maintenance of the official records.
He also directed time-bound digitisation of all important records.
