Starting on January 22, the three-day event will provide a business platform to 50 international corporates and 300 Indian engineering firms capable of delivering world-class technology products.
"At the present juncture, it is only through exports that a revival can be ensured in the manufacturing sector which has shown a negative growth of 3.5 per cent in November," Chairman of engineering exporters' body EEPC India Anupam Shah said.
Besides, states like Bihar, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Jharkhand will also participate in the IESS.
