"Heading the run will be the fastest woman in the 10K category, Morocco's Malika Asahssah, her maiden appearance in the TCS World 10k, she will be hoping to break her 30:58 minute record on race day here in Bengaluru," Procam International today said in a statement.
More than 25,000 runners, including 100 elite ones, will be participating in the race, it said.
The elite line-up also includes defending champion in the women's category Kenya's Lucy Kabuu and Guye Adola, course record holder for men in the 2014 Delhi Half Marathon.
The Indian runners include defending champion B C Tilak, holding a course-time of 30:26, 2014 Delhi Half Marathon winner Suresh Kumar and International Cochin Half Marathon winner Lakshmanan G.
Among the women, the race day will witness defending champion Swati Gadhave, winner of the 2015 Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, Kavita Raut, Monica Athare and Surya L.
