Yang Kun, former vice-president of the Agricultural Bank, yesterday appeared before the Intermediate People's Court in the eastern city of Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province.
He has been accused of taking bribes worth over 30 million yuan (USD five million) from 2005 to 2012 by using his position to obtain benefits in loan and product sales for enterprises and individuals, Intermediate People's Court said.
Yang had no objection to the charges and pleaded guilty at the court, state-run Xinhua news agency reported today.
The court said the verdict will be announced at a later date.
