Tractor plunges into irrigation well, four killed

Four persons were killed and two others injured when a tractor fell into an irrigation well after colliding with a motorcycle on the outskirts of Gattu Duddenapalli village near here, police said today.
The incident took place under Saidapur police limits, nearly 20 kms from here around midnight, they said.
According to police, K Shiva Kumar (23) of Bommenapalli village and his three friends- P Santhosh, K Srikanth and B Raju (all aged between 22-24)- were on their way home on a tractor when it collided with an oncoming motorcycle.
One of the two riding the two-wheeler was a policeman, they said.

As the driver of the tractor lost control over the vehicle, it fell into an irrigation well and the four friends died.
Their bodies were later fished out and sent for autopsy.
The two injured, who were riding the bicycle, were shifted to MGM hospital at Warangal for treatment.
