A security alarm was triggered today when a tractor trolley accidentally hit a barricade inside the Parliament House complex.
A mini tractor trolley of the horticulture department hit the barricade at the entry gate opposite to Transport Bhawan while negotiating a turn.
As part of the security procedure, armoured vehicles of CRPF's Parliament Duty Group barricaded the road leading to the main Parliament building. Armed personnel drew their automatic weapons and took positions for a few minutes in response to the alarm.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not inside the complex at the time of the incident.
