This rehearsal will take the same route as the Parade on Republic Day. It will start at 9.50 AM on January 23 from Vijay Chowk and will proceed to Red Fort.
Commuters will require to plan their journey in advance according to restrictions and avoid the route of parade, from 9 AM to 1230 PM, said Garima Bhatnagar, Joint Commissioner of Traffic Police.
No traffic movement will be allowed on Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate from 6.30 PM on January 22 till Parade is over. No cross traffic will be allowed on Rajpath from 11 PM on January 22 at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Man Singh Road till the Parade is over.
North-South traffic will be allowed from Ring Road, Arobindo Chowk and Prithviraj Road. Wast-West Corridor via Ring Road will also be available via different roads.

Metro rail service will remain available for commuters at all Metro stations during the full dress rehearsal.
However, boarding and de-boarding will be restricted at Kendriya Sachivalaya and Udyog Bhawan stations from 5 AM to 12 noon, and LKM (RCR)and Patel Chowk stations, from 8.45 AM to 12 noon, said the officer.
South Delhi Traffic towards Old Delhi railway station will be allowed on Ring Road-Ashram Chowk-Saray Kale Khan stretch.
