Train hits truck at unmanned crossing, no casualty

A train today hit a truck at an unmanned crossing in a village between Kashichak and Warsaliganj railway stations in Bihar's Nawada district disrupting railway traffic for hours.
The incident took place near Bojhwa village when the speeding Kiul-Gaya passenger train rammed into a stationary truck that had got stuck at the unmanned railway crossing due to mechanical problems, Nawada railway station superintendent I D Chaudhary said.
Due to the impact of the collision, the truck was smashed and its parts thrown some distance away, he said.
There was no casualty or injury to anyone as the occupants of the ill-fated truck had jumped out after the vehicle developed problem, Chaudhary said.
