Train passenger injured in firing by miscreants

One train passenger was critically injured in a firing by unidentified miscreants who barged into an air-conditioned compartment of the Farakka Express tonight, a railway official said.
"One person of the Delhi-bound Farakka express was injured in a firing by miscreants when the train was somewhere between Gour Malda and Jamirghata station. The injured person was a passenger of the air-conditioned B2 coach," a top railway official told PTI.
"The miscreants jumped off the train and ran away after the incident. The injured person was taken to a hospital in Farakka where his condition is stated to be quite critical," he said.
