A ten-member gang of dacoits boarded the Howrah-New Delhi Express at Gaya railway station and looted cash and belongings of passengers of six coaches last night before escaping between Kudra and Pasauli stations, Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Amitabh Prabhakar said.
Eight rail passengers were also injured in the incident when they resisted the attempt, he said.
Eight men and two women passengers who were injured were admitted at Mughalsarai Railway Hospital, he said.
