Trains cancelled due to agitation in Assam

Several trains in Assam were today cancelled by Northeast Frontier Railway in view of the agitation by Adivasi Ceasefire Organisation and Birsa Commando Force.
"18 trains have been cancelled, regulated or short terminated today, owing to stir organised by Adivasi Ceasefire Organisation and Birsa Commando Force at Kokrajhar," NF Railway Chief PRO Pranav Jyoti Sharma said.
Eight trains have been cancelled while two were short terminated, the official said.
Besides, eight other trains have been regulated at various railway stations across lower Assam and north Bengal, he said.
