The incident came to light on June five when Rajesh Verma, Private Secretary to Hussain, complained to police on behalf of the MP.
In the complaint, Verma wrote that someone has forged the letter head and signature of Hussain to get a train ticket confirmed through emergency quota and submitted it to Divisional Railway Manager in Ambala.
"When we enquired about the PNR, it was revealed that the PNR has been obtained form e-ticket and thus we are unable to get further details of the culprit," the complaint said.
Following the complaint, a senior police official said, a police team was send to Nizamuddin Railway station.
"While inspecting Golden Temple Train and the passengers of seat No 35 and 36 of S3 coach, we found two passengers Mohd Umar and his cousin Abu Hamza.
"Anees told us that Hamza got his ticket confirmed from a travel agent named Gufran & Rafiulla in central Delhi's Matia Mahal. They told us they can identify the agent. Following this we registered a case of forgery," the official said.
One person has been arrested in the case.
