Travel industry gears up for SATTE Mumbai West 2015

The travel industry is gearing up for the 4th edition of SATTE Mumbai West here that will showcase some new destinations and offerings by key stakeholders.
The 2-day SATTE, beginning from August 18, is expected to see participation from national and international tourism boards, destination management companies, travel agents and tour operators, airlines, online travel agencies, hotels and resorts and IT companies, amongst others, the organiser UBM India said in a statement.
Niche product and service providers from the industry will also participate to connect with potential business aides and build stronger partnerships within the region through this platform.
"India's western region comprises of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and adjoining areas that receive over 10 per cent domestic visits and 25 per cent foreign visits, as per industry reports.
"SATTE Mumbai West is aptly poised to offer ample opportunities to travel trade community to further push their business and tap the potential of this city and the region's tourism market," UBM India Acting Managing Director Yogesh Mudras said.
Key exhibitors include Rajasthan Tourism, Maharashtra Tourism, Chhattisgarh Tourism, Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Turkish Culture and Tourism Office, Tourism Malaysia, Tourism Fiji, Uzbekistan Tourism, Neemrana Hotels, OyoRooms, ZO Rooms, Interglobe Aviation (Indigo), Internet Moguls, Tea Estate India, Grade One Events, United Travels and Tours from Singapore, among others.
The trade show also aims to bring together industry leaders to share their views on the potential, opportunities, challenges and trends pertaining to the travel, tourism and hospitality industry with focus on western India.
It will highlight Mumbai as an established outbound gateway and bring to the forefront the emergence of tier II cities such as Surat, Nasik and Nagpur as major prospective markets in the region.
