In addition to concerts and live stages, the festival's theme-based travelling exhibit, the NH7 Periphery Art Project is set to be showcase across the cities of Shillong, Hyderabad and Pune.
The exhibition will give an opportunity to 30 handpicked artists to show their work in the festival across these three cities.
Previously, the festival has displayed some intriguing art works including elaborate installations, intricate stage designs and graffiti.
The NH7 Weekender is collaborating with Mumbai-based Bombay Duck Designs, the studio of illustrator and visual artist, Sameer Kulavoor, for the art project.

"Designers, illustrators, typographers, artists and printmakers are required to send in three of their best work samples in a jpeg format along with a brief note about themselves and their work," organisers said.
On the basis of the work samples, a shortlist of 30 of the artists is scheduled to be put out by August 23.
The festival this year is scheduled to take place in Shillong on October 21-22, in Hyderabad on November 5-6 and in Pune on December 2-4.
